1. What is this about?

“The best way to get over a woman is to turn her into literature”

Henry Miller

I don’t know whatever led me to believe this would be a good idea. I have no literary skills, I’m terrible with writing dialogue and more often than not my so called attempts to write logical sentences turn into ranting paragraphs about my deep emotional torments. How ridiculously dramatic huh?!

I guess the thing is, you can only sit and whinge to your friends for so long. And therapists are fine, they are, but when it comes down to it, they’re really meant for people who don’t know where to turn and just aren’t hearing what they need to hear from the people closest around them. Plus to be honest I’ve kind of always felt anyone who sends you to a therapist is just too afraid or frustrated to deal with you themselves.

See look at that, I’m only into my second paragraph and already I’ve completely lost my train of thought. This blog is not about my constant ranting over what I perceive to be the world. It’s not an opportunity for me to complain and vent every single thought I have in my miniscule brain. And it’s most certainly not a way for me to tell the world what a shit life I have because I’m not that conceited. No, this is about a girl.

This is about a boy who fell for the girl of his dreams. Who stood by her for 11 years, hoping one day she would notice he was the one. Who found out 11 years later, it was never going to happen. This is a documentation of every moment that mattered. This is a true story.
